The process of transmitting cardiac device data via mobile tablets facilitates review and evaluation by healthcare professionals, streamlining the clinical workflow. Medtronic has developed a system that allows clinicians to easily access patient cardiac device information through a mobile tablet interface, enabling prompt transmission of data to a device specialist for rapid review and interpretation. This capability supports timely and efficient clinical decision-making. The CareLink™ Express Mobile platform is compatible with any cardiac device supported on the CareLink™ Network and has demonstrated improvements in both clinician and patient satisfaction within acute care environments.¹

Implementation steps include:

1. Launching the application to access the start screen.
2. Pairing the Patient Connector device once via Bluetooth®*.
3. Positioning the Patient Connector over the patient's cardiac device.
4. Remotely transmitting data from the cardiac device for review.
5. Confirming successful data transmission.
